SALUTATIONS!
My name is Tia Allor, and I am the face behind The Souls Chamber. I began dabbling in the mixed media world in 2005 and became completely enthralled with collage. I started my little company called Thingamajigz and created "collage sheets" (now referred to as junk journal sheets). I grew into the world of ATC's (artist trading cards), and altered books.
Life took some twists and turns, leading me into photography and graphic design. But there was always something pulling me back into the world of mixed media, the need to "feel" the glue on my fingers, the textures in my hands. And so in 2023 I grabbed my box of scraps that had been sitting so patiently awaiting my return, and I began to create, playing with mini art journals and collages using other peoples images.
In November 2024 I had to be off of work for a bit due to shoulder surgery, and so I thought to myself, "What better time than the present to learn more about AI?" Back in the early 2000's, we literally made our own ephemera, finding scraps at thrift stores, old books, vintage photos scanned in, and whatever else we could scan. And now the world was at my fingertips. I could create whatever I wanted.
So it began... In January 2025, I released my first set of Digital AI creations. My little "family" that had surrounded me during that last year on TikTok went crazy over them, and I am always shocked when I find someone out there who "gets me" and loves what I have created.
